The Staff RN is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for a variety of types of patients, including acute care, skilled swing bed care, emergency department care, and outpatient injections/infusions. He/She assumes responsibility and accountability for her/his individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered on his/her shift.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multistate licensure.

• Able to obtain certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC and TNCC.
