ManpowerGroup Vehicle Technician in San Francisco, California

Our client, a pioneering force in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the readiness and efficiency of our fleet vehicles. This position is integral to our workshop operations, contributing to maintenance, repairs, and overall fleet management.

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: San Francisco, CA

Pay: $30 – 36/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to detailed work instructions, documenting outcomes meticulously.

  • Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and system checks, providing recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.

  • Execute high-quality repairs and inspections efficiently and accurately, prioritizing vehicle safety and performance.

  • Document all requested repairs and findings using our specialized service platform for comprehensive record-keeping.

  • Implement Quality Control (QC) measures by inspecting and testing all completed work, ensuring adherence to our stringent standards.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to adhere to a swing shift on weekends, including holidays and overtime as necessary.

  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods, tools, and materials, with a minimum of 2-4 years of technician experience.

  • Possess a clean and excellent driving record, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.

  • Exhibit a proactive, self-starting work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

  • Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, prioritizing honesty and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair.

  • ASE certification and/or manufacturer certification, showcasing expertise in automotive systems.

  • Proficiency in diagnostic troubleshooting of OEM systems, including HV systems, hybrid drivetrains, and embedded modules.

  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems and experience optimizing fleet maintenance processes.

  • Ability to travel locally and nationally on occasion, contributing to broader operational needs.
