Hillside Family of Agencies Recruiter in Rochester, New York

We have a tremendous Recruiter opportunity to work with a team to support hiring efforts Agency wide. You will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for various programs and needs at Hillside. You will play a critical role in ensuring the agency is hiring the best possible talent!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop recruiting plans, leveraging traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

  • Ability to coach management and provide recommendation during the recruitment process.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure you have a clear understanding of hiring needs.

  • Communicate with managers regularly to establish rapport and provide status of open requisitions and candidate updates.

  • Responsible for providing talent to specific client groups through resume review and distribution. Proactively identifies gaps in staffing and provides creative solutions to source talent.

  • Provide guidance to candidates and management on negotiating salary, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment. Provides salary quotes to hiring managers for all new hires and transfers.

  • Approve, Review and process all transfer applications to ensure all internal applicants are qualified and fairly reviewed for consideration.

  • Responsible for all temporary staffing needs throughout agency.

  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, linked in and other niche internet sites to identify and source high quality diverse candidate pool. Post openings via the internet, print ads and other professional/educational organizations. Attend internal/external career fairs.

  • Serves as a backup to the employee orientation, offer letter, and other recruitment processes.

  • Performs HR/Staffing related projects/activities as assigned.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related areas of study

  • 1+ year(s) of high volume recruiting experience

  • Must have intermediate to expert MS Office skills

  • Must have experience with an ATS, Oracle experience is a plus

  • Must have experience with end to end recruitment

  • Should have general knowledge of various employment laws and practice

  • Should have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards

    The following physical demands are required:

  • Occasional sitting (up to 4 hours) o Occasional standing (up to 1 hour) o Occasional walking (up to 2.5 hours) o Occasional driving (up to 2 hours) o Continuous balancing (up to 2 hours)

  • Occasional balancing, bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching forward or down, reaching overhead, running, and twisting (up to 2.5 hours)

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (job fair banners and suitcase containing job fair materials)

  • Ability to change positions as needed

$58,500 minimum pay, $75,600 maximum pay, depending upon experience.
