ManpowerGroup Yard Jockey Driver in Palmyra, Pennsylvania

Our client, in the trucking industry is seeking for experienced Yard Jockey Drivers to join their team. The ideal candidate will havea minimum of 2 years of experience and great driving record which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Yard Jockey Driver

Location: Palmyra/Hershey, PA

Pay Range: $20+

What’s the Job?

  • Drives switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations.

  • Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count.

  • Maintains a clean and safe docking area and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervision.

  • Refuels vehicles on site and documents locations and condition of equipment.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Considerable knowledge of tractor/truck mechanics and maintenance.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain clean driving record.

  • Ability to comply with all applicable OSHA regulations, Commercial driving requirements as per state and federal D.O.T. and/or MSDS standards.

  • Temp-Hire position

  • Weekly pay

  • M-F 7am-3pm $20.25/hour

  • M-F 3pm-11pm $20.75

  • Sun-Th 11pm-7am $21.75

  • E Shift Sat, Sun, Mon 6am-6pm $20.75

  • D Shift Fri-Sun 6pm-6am $21.25
