Responsibilities

Ascension Providence Hospital in Novi is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join the team.

Position Highlights:

  • The Center is located on the hospital campus and is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

  • Dedicated staff include Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, sleep technologists, clerical support and Manager.

  • The office is open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

  • A comprehensive compensation package is available including competitive salary, benefits, malpractice coverage and other incentives.

  • Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi Campus is located in one of the most desirable areas in Michigan. Nearby communities offer some of the finest real estate, along with public and private schools which consistently rank at the top of the nation. Year-round recreational and social activities abound.

Responsibilities:

  • The physician will be expected to assess patients, order and interpret studies, document results in EMR, communicate findings to referring physicians and show willingness to work as an integral member of the healthcare team.

  • There are no inpatient hospital responsibilities associated with this position.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.

Additional Preferences

Qualifications:

  • BC Internal Medicine,Family Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine or Neurology

  • Completion of an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship program and BE/BC in Sleep Medicine

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
