The Charge Registered Nurse - PACU independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information

• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in PACU or Critical Care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license

• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

• ACLS certification with American Heart Association

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• 18 months critical care experience in an acute care setting (PACU or Critical Care Unit)

• Preferred Certification - CPAN
