Washington County Career Center Placement and Student Success Coordinator in Marietta, Ohio
The Placement and Student Success Coordinator will be responsible for
obtaining work-based learning opportunities for all students. The Placement and Student Success Coordinator, along with the program instructors, will provide assistance for students as they transition from school to employment. The Placement and Student Success Coordinator will foster positive student attendance and coordinate a drug-free club. The Placement and Student Success Coordinator will work both in and
out of the office during the school day. Work with office personnel and Assistant Director.
* QUALIFICATIONS: *1. Related postsecondary degree/certificate preferred. Related experience preferred.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to successfully promote a high energy, positive image of self, students, and career-technical programs to employers and community leaders.
Demonstrated ability to work with students to encourage positive attendance and a drug free lifestyle.
Possess a strong positive relationship with local employers.
COMPENSATION: Salary range $27.43 - $34.02 hourly or $41,145 - $51,030 yearly
commensurate with experience. Competitive benefit package. The
contract year consists of 200 days/year, 7.5 hours/day.
