Citigroup Director - Infrastructure Group Manager (Hybrid) in London, United Kingdom

The Head of CTI (Citi Technology Infrastructure) Enterprise Program and Product Management will serve as CTI’s Program and Product Management Centre of Practice head, providing thought leadership and strategic direction for Program management standards and best practices for CTI, and provide Program management for CTI large, complex cross-division Programs while also serving as CTI’s Program Management representative in firm wide PMO forums and ensuring a consistent approach to Program assignment and resource utilization for CTI.

  • Center of Practice (CoP) for Product and Program Management - Provide guidance, consistency and thought leadership for all CTI Embedded Program Management teams, responsible for establishing and communicating ways of working, driving collaboration, culture and/or stability of CTI's Program Management ecosystem and ensuring compliance with overall Citi Program Management policies and procedures while providing best practices for execution and delivery, monitoring key metrics, assessing risk impact and ensuring mitigation and remediation to limit impact to critical Program delivery.

  • Establish a consistent approach to Program assignment and resource utilization to ensure staff skills and deliverables meet CTI objectives.

  • This role will be responsible for representing CTI in firmwide Program management forums, communities and panel conversations and leads the primary body for a Practice’s guidance and thought leadership. Through the administration and recommendation of guidance, development of solutions, and knowledge sharing, a CoP provides a focal point for the organization to leverage the strength of consistency. It helps to ensure we always consider the impact of a practice on our strategy and to stay at the forefront of innovation.

  • This role also provides Program Management for large complex CTI Global/Regional or Cross Divisional Initiatives comprised of related Programs and programs that have direct influence on driving business to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, evaluate, provide resources and drive a team towards realistic goals whilst managing sizeable resources, budget, policy formulation and strategic decisions.

  • Apply in-depth/comprehensive knowledge of subject domain/area to assume responsibility for large, complex systems/services/initiatives.

  • Apply a broad and comprehensive knowledge-base in multiple functional areas as well as underlying business strategy

  • Ensure essential processes and procedures are in place and contribute to defining and re-engineering improvements.

  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, communicating with external parties as needed.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Senior Global Program Management leadership experience driving multiple matrixed teams

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills to build a cohesive team capable of succession to more senior roles. Must be able to demonstrate coaching, mentoring, and developing team members in prior roles.

  • Experience in a technology infrastructure role with extensive experience in infrastructure technologies and/or functions, business, as well as functional and project management

  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization, from technical developers to the savviest business/executive leaders.

  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities, and identification of best practices.

  • Proven analytical, diagnostic, and multitasking skills with focus on execution and attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of legal, compliance and data privacy regulations as they pertain to data governance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Master's degree preferred.
