Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our full service hotel. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily hotel operations at a high level to ensure outstanding guest service and ensure a great working environment for our staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties:

  • Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
  • Coordinate and execute hotel, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, banquet, and catering departments to meet customer expectations
  • Conduct monthly department head meetings to ensure good communications and motivation
  • Oversee all aspects of food & beverage service management, including menu planning, food handling, and food production
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the establishment
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff members
  • Train employees on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols and assist with employee tasks as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Skills:

  • Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire employees
  • Understanding of P&L, revenue management, etc. to ensure all departments are profitable and make adjustments as required.
  • Experience in hotel, banquet, catering, bartending, or restaurant management
  • Excellent interviewing skills to identify top talent for the team
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff members, and vendors
  • Work well in high pressure stressful situation

At least 3 years previous experience as GM or AGM in the Hotel or Hospitality industry required. We offer very competitive pay based with bonus opportunities.
