Description:

Shift is 12am-8am, Pay Rate $35- $40

Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and other related equipment. Provides guidance to HVAC Mechanic B and other personnel assigned to projects.

Job Responsibility

1. Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment throughout the hospital.

2. Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.

3. Assists Contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems, as needed.

4. Provides guidance and instructions to HVAC Mechanic B and other personnel assigned to projects.

5. Serves as a member of the Fire Response Team.

6. Performs related duties, as required.

Units they will be repairing with be Air Handlers, Roof-Top HVAC units; working off a Siemens Platform so if they have experience on that, that is beneficial.

HVAC Technicians will be doing compliance and pressure testing of the various units in the hospital.

Training for at least 3 months will be day; 8am-4pm- once they are comfortable with the equipment, they will move to night shift; 12am-8am Sunday- Thursday; Tuesday- Saturday
