The Pharmacy Technician performs duties essential to maintaining the pharmacy. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. The Pharmacy Technician interacts with hospital/ clinic staff, students and volunteers. The ability to communicate with pharmacy and non-pharmacy coworkers is essential. This position prepares, labels and delivers medications, manages drug inventory, adjusts medication charges and performs additional tasks as assigned under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician must be able to perform routine tasks on own initiative and recognize additional needs as they arise.
