The Senior Accountant will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to maintain a record of financial activities within an organization. The accountant is responsible for accounts payable and receivables and performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review financial reports

• Audit, prepare tax reports/documents, accounts receivables/payables, purchasing, real estate, long and short-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization

• Prepare activity reports and financial forecasts

• Oversee the flow of cash or financial instruments

• Examine, evaluate, or process loan applications

• Establish procedures for custody or control of assets, records, loan collateral, or securities to ensure safekeeping

• Analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.

• Assist in coordinating tax reporting programs and investor relations activities.

• Data Analysis, planning and strategizing and advise senior managers

  Skills and Abilities

• Proven Strategic planning experience at the management level

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  Qualifications and Requirements Education

• A four-year bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's degree in financial/accounting disciplines or equivalent preferred

  Work History

• Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  Physical Demands

• Occasional travel to remote sites

• Occasional travel to corporate

• Long hours of sitting and/or standing

• Regularly work on repetitive tasks

• Frequent bending

• Occasional lifting of office supplies
