Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Denver, Colorado. This role is centered around the construction industry and involves managing various elements of the general ledger, conducting financial analyses, and supervising key accounting departments.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and consolidating financial statements for accurate tracking and reporting

• Establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure financial compliance and integrity

• Managing all aspects of the general ledger to ensure accurate financial data

• Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analyses to support strategic decision-making

• Coordinating or assisting with the budget process for effective financial planning

• Researching accounting issues to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Analyzing and reporting cost variances to identify financial trends and anomalies

• Serving as a liaison to external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process

• Supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting departments for efficient operations

• Leveraging various accounting software systems and ERP solutions for optimal financial management

Skills:

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) and Accounting Functions

• Knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in Auditing, Billing Functions, and Journal Entries

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Month End Close.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector.

• Proficient in managing all Accounting Functions.

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Knowledge and experience in Auditing processes.

• Ability to manage Billing Functions effectively.

• Must be able to handle Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.
