Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC (16 hours per week) at Hamilton Medical Center, located 30 miles south of Chattanooga TN. This 280 bed acute care hospital has 4 intensive care units, including a Level 3 NICU. Hamilton Medical Center supports community activities and offers a wide range of opportunities to get involved. If you like outdoor activities, Dalton and surrounding areas have an abundance of recreational activities to enjoy as well as a state-of-the-art wellness center!

The successful candidate will:

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

• Work every 3 rd or 4th weekend providing hospital wide coverage;

• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;

• Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and

• Precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
