Technician perform mechanical and electrical work in maintenance, installation, diagnosis, and repair of air conditioning, heating and ventilating systems for commercial and industry applications. The position work is in a team environment while reporting to a foreman or supervisor. The day-to-day systems range in size from small self-contained package units to large tonnage built-up systems, chillers, and interconnecting piping for commercial buildings.

Major Responsibilities

The successful candidate must be able to perform the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:

1. Reads blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings accurately for mechanical/electrical installation projects
2. Conduct all repairs and installations according to code
3. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Notify client immediately if plan needs to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances
4. Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested
5. Acquire signature of client on service agreement upon completion of work
6. Follow all safety standards for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and company safety regulations. This includes wearing proper protective equipment.
