Kiper Moving And Transportation / DBA Arnold's Moving Product Associate 2 in Buffalo, New York

Buffalo. Kiper Moving and Transportation. Product Associate 2. $17 - $18/hour.

Salary: base pay per shift+ overtime + quarterly bonus checks+ team leader or training someone else bonus: - 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm- $17.01/ hr; - 2nd shift 2pm-10:30 pm $17.86/hr; - 3rd shift 10:00 pm-6:30 am $18.03/hr

Working schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday

Benefits: - Pension plan Profit sharing retirement plan starts the 91st day: $21 per week added to 401k plan; after 5 years of employment, it becomes $46/week. Quarterly bonus check - Health insurance starts the first day of the month following 30 days of employment - Becoming a team leader gains an extra $1.50/hr - Training someone gains you an extra $1.50/hr - Successfully training someone else gets you a bonus check, up to $750 - 4 times a year you get a bonus check which is purely based on longevity. Starts at $100 and the longer you stay the more it goes up.

This employer has a relationship with United Auto Workers (UAW), a Union: The way the relationship works is: Every individual hired must join the Union and pay $100 to join and 2.5x hourly pay rate per month (if hourly pay is $17.01 then you pay $42.53/month to the Union). After 9 months you get the full benefits of the Union. Upwards mobility: all employees start at a labor grade of 2. The job positions at Maclean are ranked from labor grade 2 to labor grade 10. Production Associate II is a labor grade of 2. After a couple of months, through the union, a production associate can bid for a higher labor graded job. Higher labor grade jobs pay more per hour than lower labor graded jobs.

UNITED STATES WORK PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY

Responsibilities: - Maintain a safe and clean work area per 6S standards. - Refer unusual or unsafe conditions to supervisor. - Maintain proper documentation and communications to ensure efficient coordination between shifts and departments (e.g. quality, engineering, maintenance) - Orient when requested by supervisor. - Support others operating machines. - Lead when mutually agreed. - Orient and/or lead when requested by supervisor. - Comply with all Quality Management System procedures and work instructions. - Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor. - Able to learn visually.

CHIPMAN/CLEANOUT. - Exchange chip and swarf carts. - Operate and maintain chip spinner(s). - Pick up bar ends, scrap, filter bags and oily cardboards. - Responsible for segregation and distribution of various materials into various containers to prevent mixing. - Drain, clean out and refill machines, washers and dip tanks. - Operate and maintain cleanout cart. - Drain oil from drip pans/skids. - Responsible for storage and distribution of cutting oils. - Learn how to clean out machines, drive a forklift, and fluid levels.

GENERAL LABORER. - Assist maintenance department in general labor maintenance type projects. - Inside/Outside cleanup and property maintenance. - Scraping and painting. - Straightening and organizing.

BENCH INSPECTOR. - Have a basic knowledge of gauging and instruments. - Be able to understand very direct, simple instructions regarding the use of equipment, gaging and instruments, such as eddy current. - 100% sort parts for both visual and dimensional defects, with high standards of quality and quantity. - Responsible and accountable for parts inspected. - Record and maintain inspection information. - Hand load and hand pack. - Simple hand assembly. - Hand deburr by hand or using equipment such as belt sander, wire wheel, push-pull motor or other similar equipment.
